Update World Apart before trying the affected save again. In the September 24 developer Q&A, one save-loading bug was traced to equipping additional treasures after Dual Treasure Mastery. The developer said those affected files were not corrupted and that the fix had been released. This explanation covers that documented bug, not every possible missing or damaged save.
Follow the supported sequence

Do not delete the save as a first response. The official explanation specifically says that the files involved in the known logic bug were not themselves corrupted. It does not instruct players to erase progress, edit a save or remove arbitrary files.
Prepare a useful report
Record whether the file appears in the load screen, any error text, your last successful load, the action before the problem and whether extra treasures were involved. The developer asks for reproduction steps, screenshots or recordings and save status. The Q&A also asks affected players to provide their Steam ID through community support for investigation.
Use the official support entry linked from the game’s Steam page. A Steam identifier is different from a password or authentication code; never post those credentials. This guide site does not collect support files or need access to your account.
Why there is no save-folder path here
Search results for “World Apart save location” frequently point to Endzone. A path belonging to that game is not a verified path for Nuverse’s game. Until a correct location is confirmed, this page will not direct you to edit or delete a guessed folder.
If an update does not resolve the symptom, preserve the current evidence and escalate the report. Repeatedly applying unrelated file edits can make the original problem harder to diagnose.
