World Apart includes pill refining, and successfully making the first pill is an official achievement. The developer describes alchemy as depending on your actions rather than memorizing a rigid recipe list, with both successful refining and furnace failure possible. This confirms the activity; it does not establish a guaranteed recipe.
A useful first objective
The achievement 丹火初燃 records the first successfully refined pill. If you are learning the system, focus on understanding the current in-game instructions and recognizing that result before chasing an unverified high-tier recipe.
| What you can use | What remains unverified |
|---|---|
| First successful pill as a concrete goal | Exact ingredient ratios |
| The developer’s action-based description | A universal timing window |
| Your own recorded input and result | Guaranteed success percentages |
| Current in-game instructions | Complete pill-effect and recipe tables |
Keep a record instead of guessing
For your own experiment, note the displayed instructions, the ingredients or actions you choose and the visible outcome. Change one thing at a time if you want to compare attempts. This is a way to organize observations, not a claim about a hidden alchemy formula.
If an attempt fails, the official description does not establish a guaranteed recovery method or refund. Avoid committing more valuable resources until you understand the feedback. Check that any external advice names this specific game; alchemy systems from other cultivation titles are not interchangeable.
Pills and artifacts are separate goals
The first pill and the first crafted artifact have different achievements. Completing one should not be treated as proof that you have completed the other. For artifact-specific save issues and goals, use the separate artifact page rather than applying a pill-crafting assumption to equipment.
